Haircuts

For some reason I hate getting my hair cut. I am not sure where it stemmed from because I have never had a "bad haircut" (only poor choices on my end). I think I just hate being judged for the condition of my hair, so I put it off which makes my split ends worse and then I get even more concerned. I honestly think my dog gets groomed more than I do, and yes I don't really like taking her either. She just went to the groomer and look at the before and after pictures. She looks fabulous, especially with the bows in her hair.

Does anyone else hate getting their haircut?

This weekend..

This weekend was decent, next weekend will be better because we are going to DISNEYLAND!!!!

I tried Custom Built Pizza, where you get to pick your own sauce, cheese, topping and then they cooking on a wood burning stove. So delicious

At work I was confetti bombed. I love confetti! One of dreams is to be showered in confetti.It completely turned my day around

Saturday the cafeteria was down at work so they a ton of pizzas. I ended up taking 2 boxes home but here is some of the aftermath. Crazy right?

I finally picked up the mug that Christiane and I made. It could have been better but I am pretty happy with it.

I also ran the Awesome 80's run with my sister Kailey. Everyone dressed up and it was pretty amazing. I ran with my friend Julie and she did so much better than then last 5k we ran. She shaved 4 mins. off her final time. Kailey and I

Finally took Daphne to the park. Her allergies have been acting up so we have to keep an eye on her.

Most exciting weekend ever!!!

Holy cow weekend.

Friday was the most exciting day ever. I had taken the day off to look at new cars. I have always wanted a Honda Fit but they were always out of my price range. Well went to test drive it and I fell in love. Thanks to my wonderful husband he was able to negotiate a fantastic deal. I am the new owner of a 2013 Honda Fit named Lady (you will find out why later on) .

I was really sad to see my car but it was time. The Honda Fit is pretty much just an upgraded version on my old car.

I will miss my car

Once we were done with the car we headed straight home so we could get ready for LADY GAGA!!!! It was a crazy exciting day.

I was really really excited. I have loved Lady Gaga for a very long time and Ryan was awesome enough to get me tickets for Christmas. Our seats were really far back but I didn't mind and she an awesome performer. She sounds pretty close to her albums ,but you could tell it was live because she was getting out of breathe from dancing.

Ryan bought be a key chain to commemorate the night, hence why my car is called Lady.

This weekend we also had some really crazy fog. I have never seen fog in Vegas and it was some of the worst I have ever had to drive through.

Remember the pictures of my dog looking like a hot mess? I hope not because she was really awful but we were able to get her groomed this weekend. I have been a little leery of doing so since the last time didn't go so well. I took her to the Barking Dogs and she loved it. All of the staff was really friendly and loved her. The woman who groomed Daphne called her princess because she would hold her paws properly. One thing that I loved is they put feathers in her hair. Yes feathers! She took one off before she came out so she only had one but it was super adorable.

Don't mind the million of jugs behind her.

Dog Training

I was reading an article I found on Pinterest this weekend and it said that Collies are one of the easiest dogs to train. I looked at Daphne laying on the floor and decided it was time for her to learn some tricks. I turned to Google and found 52 Tricks to Teach Your Dog. I prefer not to use a clicker like the article suggest so I just use hand motions and that seems to work. She already has a couple of these down and I can't wait to teach her more.
